Evan Helmers

My brother took his own life December 31, 2016 after bouts with PTSD and the end of his engagement. He was a kind soul and a wonderful man who served his country with honor. He always thought of others before himself which is exactly why he was an organ donor. We pray to meet those who received his organs one day. The pain of losing him is crippling at times, but we try to find comfort in knowing he is living on helping others have another chance at life.
