In Loving Memory of
Benjamin Alan Noelle
Donor
You Are Forever in Our Hearts Benjamin
Benjamin Alan Noelle was born April 5, 1998. He had an older brother, Charlie, that he shared his birth date with. They were separated by six years. He had an older sister, Emily, that he shared Starbucks with. They were separated by two years. Benjamin was a caring, warm-hearted young man, who gave until the end. Benjamin was genuine, kind and compassionate. Benjamin had a sweet spirit, a smile that just made you smile right back and a great sense of humor. Benjamin enjoyed working out and he was so strong. Benjamin was a hugger. When he gave you a hug, you knew he meant it from the bottom of his heart. Benjamin loved God, his family and his girlfriend with everything he had inside of him. Benjamin loved everyone and always saw the best in people, no matter what they did or said. Benjamin enjoyed playing his Euphonium and joined Marching Band in High School. Benjamin played the baritone three years with the Windsor Golden Brigade, and two years as a Marching Sycamore at Indiana State University. Benjamin had a passion for cars that he shared with his dad and brother. He was always searching for the “best SLP loudmouth muffler sound”. Benjamin was preparing to start a new chapter in his life as a full-time student at Ranken Technical College at the end of August. He talked about, after finishing school, having his own shop. Benjamin worked full time at St. Louis Bread Company.
On the morning of August 15, 2018, while on his way to work, Benjamin was in a serious automobile accident and went home to be with the Lord. Our hearts were broken wide open and life as we knew it would forever be changed. But, out of our great sorrow came great joy in knowing Benjamin had made his decision at the age of 16 to be an Organ Donor. It was so important to him to be a Donor that he registered at least four times. Through Benjamin's selfless gift of donation, he was able to be a “Hero” to many. Benjamin’s lungs were gifted to a 58-year-old man. Benjamin’s liver was gifted to a 64-year-old woman. Benjamin’s left kidney was gifted to a 46-year-old woman, and his right kidney to a 36-year-old man. There were many recipients of Benjamin’s tissue donations. Benjamin even gave another recipient the gift of sight. Benjamin’s gifts not only touched the Recipients, but their spouses, kids, grand-kids, other family members and friends. Benjamin’s family could not be prouder of his decision to be an Organ Donor. We are hopeful that many of Benjamin’s Recipients will reach out with a note or in person so we can see how they are doing, and possibly share some memories of our Ben.
