I have Cystic Fibrosis, which is why I needed the lung transplant. I received my transplant on June 4, 2018. I was born with CF and told I would not live over 24 hours. I was given at the minimum 3-4 different life expectancies and have out lived every one of them so far.

I was thankfully already at Barnes Hospital for a 'tune up' when I got the call that there were potential lungs for me. I can't explain the emotions that went through my heart and soul! So thankful for this second chance.
