Roger Stewart

Roger was a Navy veteran, and spent time in Vietnam. He was a paramedic for 20 years, and spent most of his life doing for others. When a lung and heart disease took his life two years ago, he donated all of his body that could be used for good. I received a letter from Mid-America Transplant that two people in South Africa received his corneas, and eight women were helped with his tissue for post-mastectomy needs. I cried when I read the letter, I am so proud of his selfless giving.
