Joseph Benjamin McDonald departed this earthly life on Friday, June 25, 2021.
Joe’s life celebration includes his generous selfless act of organ donation. As of today, Joseph Benjamin McDonald’s organs has saved at least two lives that we know of and more to come.
Joe worked at Hilton St. Louis Ballpark, which he loved dearly. Joey was so proud to share with his family that one of his managers told him that they wished that they were 100 of Joseph McDonalds just like him. Joe always expressed his love for his Northview family as well. Joey loved Jesus Christ and serving people. Joe had several best friends and they were all of his brothers, by blood and by love. Joey just never met a stranger.
If the recipients of my brother’s organs knew who gifted them the gift of life, they will be correct to think he was a great man living a peaceful life. Joey, never met a stranger. So, to the recipients, just like Joey would do, I too call you friend.
