Jeff’s greatest joys in life were his family, children, and dogs. He had an extremely large heart and never met a child/kid he didn’t like or was unable to connect with. When he had his last stroke and he wasn’t able to overcome the difficulties it created, we were faced with a decision to make for him. A few hours after he passed, we received a phone call from Mid America Transplant. They informed us of what Jeff could donate and how it would be used. Jeff fit the requirements for a lifesaving heart valve donation to benefit a child. WOW! It was the only thing that made sense after losing him. He would be so happy to know he saved the life of a child!
