Today on 9/11, we honor everyone who was affected by the terrorist attacks. Today is also the day that my son was declared brain dead.
Nick was an amazing son & father. He was a registered organ donor. It was not hard to give him to the transplant team because we knew this is what signing up meant.

Nick was able to save three lives. His kidneys went to different people & his heart went to a woman who lives in Wisconsin. Tomorrow will be the day he was pronounced by the doctor as brain dead then September 15, 2021, is when he donated his organs. I celebrate his Heavenly departure on 9/11 and I wish all that helped him transition the very best in life!
