My daughter passed away on her 32nd birthday, from a Pulmonary Embolism. My sweet girl & best friend was gone suddenly & way too soon! Jordyne Nicole had added “Organ Donor” to her Driver’s License, at 16 years old. I knew right away that she wanted to donate whatever she could. Jordyne was able to donate skin for grafting, bones, & heart valves. Due to the way she passed away, her internal organs were no longer viable. However, what Jordyne was able to donate is still extremely life changing for her recipients!
At first, it was hard to think about donating, however, that had no bearing on my decision. Jordyne wanted to help people when she was gone & that’s exactly what she did! I’m so proud of my daughter, for what she did in life, but extremely proud for what she did for others in death! I love and miss Jordyne every day!! - Jennifer Jones
